SOPHIA is the vessel. It sits on your phone, tablet or computer and waits patiently. Everything you deposit — symptoms, lab tests, imaging, food, meals, supplements, sleep, the small daily detail — flows into SOPHIA and comes back as a structured report that grows over time, adds to your learning, and includes a one-page clinical summary when needed for a health practitioner, specialist or GP. We have worked with GPs to build exactly what they need and want into SOPHIA.
A single blood test is one dot. The same marker across years — rising, falling, holding — is where the meaning is. SOPHIA keeps every result against its date and lines them up, so a trend that would be invisible across a folder of PDFs becomes a single picture, colour-coded the way a clinician reads it.
This is possible because you have gathered your blood test results and placed them effortlessly into SOPHIA. You have done the initial work and made the effort, and SOPHIA does the rest — strips out all identifying information and presents them in the way shown here in the real-world example below.
Results often come from different laboratories, each with its own reference ranges — so SOPHIA flags every value against its own lab’s range, then lines them up on one honest page. Two colours do the flagging here: above range and below range. And there’s a third — amber — for the rare collection date SOPHIA wasn’t fully confident it read, so you can check it against the original. A health tool that flags its own uncertainty rather than papering over it.
This is something a health practitioner can take meaningful information from in a matter of seconds. And the work you do — gathering data from scattered sources into one place — compounds: the more you add, the more every future report can tell you.
He called the lab-results view incredible — he’d never seen anyone lay results out across time like this.
| Marker | 2019 | 2021 | 2023 | 2025 | 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TSH | 2.1 | 3.6 | 7.29 | 15.0 | 19.0 |
| Free T4 | 14 | 12 | 9.1 | 8.4 | 8.0 |
| Ferritin | 96 | 110 | 88 | 120 | 104 |
I can't believe there is one tool that brings all this together. It's amazing.
I love the simplicity and being able to use it for my daughter.
I'm seeing my doctor this week and can't wait to give him that one-page summary.
I love the occasional reminders about the Nine health investments.
It shows your practitioner what most records can’t: not just what is in your history, but what is missing from it — a recent test not done, a gap in the record, family history not yet captured. Those notable absences are often what a careful clinician looks for first. And the rest is built for speed — GP, physiotherapist, specialist or surgeon can take in the whole picture in under a minute, in the format they already expect.
He singled out the “Notable absences” section as the part he valued most — and found the page simple and quick to read, in the format he already works in.
The wording here is written for practitioners — clinical, concise, in the terms they expect. It isn’t meant to be easy reading for everyone; it’s meant to be fast and familiar for your doctor.

Before an appointment, tell SOPHIA what you want to cover — by voice or by typing. It builds a one-page agenda, places it in front of your latest report as a single PDF, and writes the email. You only need the clinic’s address — not the doctor’s.
Why it helps you: your doctor gets a few minutes to prepare before you walk in, so the short, precious consultation is spent on what matters. And you won’t be halfway out the door before remembering the thing you meant to ask — it’s written down, and already in front of them.
The forwarding instruction leads the subject and the message, so it survives a busy front desk and reaches the right doctor — and your report rides along as the attachment. And you send it, from your own email; it never goes out through SOPHIA.
Hello,
Please forward this to Dr Lee ahead of my appointment. I’ve attached a one-page agenda and my SOPHIA health report.
My questions for the visit:
· the overnight hip pain easing — what to do next
· the thyroid trend over the last year
· whether a fasting glucose is worth doing
It’s working really well.— beta testing client An appointment pack, sent ahead Flags its own uncertain reads Each value against its own lab’s range
The recent changes make it even easier to use.Built for carers and busy parents De-identified — safe to share A growing lifetime health record
Built first for one person — and just as much at home inside the clinics and organisations that care for many.
SOPHIA is built first for you — a calm, private place to gather your whole health picture in your own words and your own time, then get it back as a structured report that grows over the years, plus a one-page summary for your GP.
The same tools and thinking that support an individual also support the people and organisations who care for them. SOPHIA can come into GP clinics, allied-health practices, laboratories, workplaces, and community and government health programs — giving a clinic’s patients a calm place to gather their health picture between appointments, and equipping practitioners with structured summaries they can actually use. Better information, clearer conversations, healthier people.

From my point of view — and in my own experience interacting with GPs and the health profession — at any one time it is highly unlikely, the way the system is currently structured, that you can go to a doctor, a health professional or a specialist and expect them to have your whole history: your accumulated, longitudinal tests and imaging over the years; a clear understanding of whether you're improving in certain areas; often little idea of your background, including your family history.
People describe going to one doctor who can only see lab results from one pathology lab — then to another who has access to their records but sees different results, because the testing was done through another lab. This is extremely common, and very distressing. Even My Health Record: so many complain it isn't completely inclusive, that it's difficult to access, and that it's hard to share or extract meaningful data quickly and easily.
SOPHIA is designed, from the ground up, to alleviate that pain.
NEW: Place your exported data from any of your health apps that track things like blood pressure, diet, steps, cardio and more into SOPHIA — and SOPHIA will integrate it into the big picture.
SOPHIA is more than lab results. There's a real component of learning about your own health — and leveraging the fact that you know more about your own health than anyone. SOPHIA simply helps you put that knowledge into practice and action.
See a real example of a full SOPHIA reportThe SOPHIA health tool has taken that into account. Simply speak into the phone directly into SOPHIA, or even have the phone nearby so SOPHIA can listen and record a session when it's relevant.
And of course most people simply keep their own record — but the carer case is the one almost nobody else has built for.
Wisdom isn't only about dealing with health flare-ups when they arise — it's also about understanding the best ways to be proactive with our health. That's what the nine health investments remind us of, and in many ways expand upon: the growing body of evidence, research, ancestral wisdom, and more.
SOPHIA is built on a framework of nine wise health investments. See our expanding article to get a glimpse of what this means — SOPHIA acknowledges these efforts we make.
Privacy is the single biggest friction in any shared health record — the thing public systems wrestle with constantly. SOPHIA's answer is built in, not bolted on: every piece of identifying information is stripped out — including from your blood-test results and uploaded documents — and nothing is ever stored on a publicly accessible server. So you can share a report freely, because there's nothing in it that points back to you. It's a genuine workaround to a problem the big systems haven't cracked — and it works.
